This Year’s Theme
In 2022 the church will mark the 500th anniversary of the publication of Martin Luther’s translation from the Greek of the New Testament to German, the first widely distributed translation of Scripture in a vernacular language in the modern era. Our theme this year is “The Conquering Sword of the Word” and the talks will focus on how the Bible being made available to men and women to read and understand overcame principalities and powers and overthrew kingdoms, not with the might of earthly armies, but by the power of God’s holy word.
What Will the Event Be Like?
You will be able to get a good idea of what to expect from this complete video of the lectures from a few years ago. Our theme was the 400th anniversary of the Synod of Dort.
